Grande Prairie records snowiest November since 2006

To find a November as snowy as the one Grande Prairie just had, one would have to look back more than a decade. Environment Canada says 61.3 centimetres fell at the Grande Prairie Airport last month, with a record 19.8 centimetres falling in one day alone on November 26th.

The last time the city saw more than 60 centimetres of snow in November was in 2006, when 61.6 centimetres fell. The closest it came since then was in 2014, with 56.9 centimetres in 2014, followed by 55 in 2013.
