Universal Children’s Day to be celebrated at Eastlink

There’s free family fun to be had at the Eastlink Centre later today in honour of Universal Children’s Day. Eatlink’s Cate Amaro says there will be all sorts of resources on hand for parents and caregivers.

“We will have more than 30 free child related booths offering many things from information to games and more.”

The kids will be able to take part in yoga, get their face painted or jump around a bouncy castle. Everything is free of charge. The event is geared towards children ages 0-12 but all families are welcome.

In 1954 the United Nations established Universal Children’s Day. It is celebrated on November 20 each year and is meant to promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide.
