Another snowfall warning has been issued for the Grande Prairie – Beaverlodge – Valleyview region. Environment Canada expects the snow to continue, with 10 to 15 centimetres of heavy snowfall predicted during the day Wednesday.
The Grande Prairie Airport saw eight centimetres over the long weekend, and, unofficially, eight centimetres fell between noon Monday and 2 p.m. Tuesday. Drivers are asked to prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions, and to watch for visibility to be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
