Wembley boil water advisory lifted

The boil water advisory in Wembley has been lifted. The town says the water samples submitted to Alberta Health Services have come back as safe for consumption.

The advisory was put into place on Saturday, November 4th, after there was a break in a water main. The town’s water supply had to be shut off, as the town said the poor condition of the older valves meant they couldn’t isolate the issue.

AHS recommends residents open all the taps in their home and let them run for a few minutes to flush the lines.
