A truck driver has reported being shot at while driving on Highway 40. The tanker truck was heading south about 45 kilometres south of Grande Prairie around 4 p.m. on Wednesday when someone in a northbound pickup truck fired a gun at it.
The driver’s side door was damaged, but the driver wasn’t hurt. Photos posted to social media also show damage to multiple spots of the tank itself. The truck wasn’t hauling anything flammable at the time.
Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating the incident and ask anyone with information to come forward to the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
