Break in and theft at Hythe Curling Club

The curling club in Hythe was broken into earlier this week and RCMP are looking for a suspect. Police say some time between the evening of Monday, October 9th, and Wednesday, October 11, someone damaged the building’s door and got inside.

Several items have been reported stolen, including a 35″ LED TV, a yellow toolbox filled with a variety of tools, and several bottles of alcohol. An investigation into the B&E is underway and anyone with information is asked to contact the Beaverlodge RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.

NOTE: A previous version of this story indicated the break-in was at the Beaverlodge Curling Club. We regret the error.
