Advance voting begins

Advance Voting for city residents begins today for the upcoming municipal election. Voting will take place at city hall from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Advance polls are open to anyone but are especially meant for people who may be out of town on election day or could have some difficulty making it to polling stations. Everyone is reminded that valid ID is required to vote in advance or on October 16. Advance polls are open Friday and Saturday, then again October 13th and 14th.

There will be accessible voting equipment available for Advance Voting only. At home voting or special ballot information can be found on the city’s website or by contacting the election office.

Advanced polls for the county will go Saturday and then again next Saturday.

There are 4 voting locations;
Albright Community Hall – Divisions 5, 6, and 7
Saskatoon Lake Community Hall – Divisions 3 and 4
Sexsmith Civic Centre – Divisions 2 and 9
County of Grande Prairie Public Works Building – Divisions 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9
