RCMP looking for tips on Grovedale robbery

A pair of would-be thieves left empty-handed after trying to rob the convenience store and gas bar in Grovedale last month. Grande Prairie RCMP have reached out for public tips on the robbery, as Police Dog Services wasn’t able to find the suspects.

Two men entered the store around 5 a.m. on September 22nd and pretended to buy food. When the store’s clerk opened the till, they were bear sprayed. The men ran away without getting any cash or merchandise.

The suspects are both described as Caucasian and clean shaven with dark hair. They were wearing black hoodies. Anyone with information is asked to contact the local RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
