Third annual Weyerhaeuser diaper drive is underway

Lumber giant Weyerhaeuser is taking part in its third annual Diaper Drive.

Public Affairs Manager Wayne Roznowsky says when young families are struggling to make ends meet, the cost of diapers means cutting back on other essentials like food and utilities.

“Diapers are often one of the most requested and least donated items at local food banks. We, as a company, decided a couple years ago to do Operation Diaper Drive, and our goal is 30,500 diapers for Grande Prairie.”

Across North America, the company’s goal is to collect one million diapers in the communities where their mills operate.
