Next phases of downtown rehab up for discussion at open house

Want to know what lies in store for the next stages of downtown rehabilitation? The City of Grande Prairie is hosting an open house on phases three and four Wednesday night.

Residents can check out detailed design drawings of what’s proposed for 100th Avenue between 98th and 102nd Street. ISL Engineering and Land Services was picked as the engineering consultant in April 2017, but exactly what work will be done is still up for approval by the new city council as they put together their budget this fall.

The open house will run from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rotary Room in the Montrose Cultural Centre. Those who drop in are invited to take part in discussions about the project, and the city encourages downtown business owners to get involved as well.
