Air Quality Advisory still in effect for northern Alberta

The air quality in Edmonton and Central Alberta is no longer a health concern for residents, but there’s still a risk in the north of the province.

A precautionary Air Quality Advisory remains in effect for AHS’ North Zone, as there is still smoke from nearby forest fires.

If you can taste or smell smoke, you should limit physical activity outside, as even healthy people could be affected if it gets worse.

Anyone with respiratory conditions is more likely to be affected.
