The Village of Hythe will have a new mayor this fall. Gary Burgess isn’t running for reelection, along with councillors Carol Descoteaux and Gordon Nicholson.
In total, there are seven people in the running for five council positions. Incumbents Nadine Adolf and Lyle Sipe are among them, along with Bill Guise, Craig Hewitt, Larry Pasaluko, Brian Peterson, and Ed Smith.
Election day will be October 16th. The mayor and deputy mayor will then be chosen by those elected to council.
