Wanted man who turned himself in sentenced to 18 months

Christopher Walter Tuttle King will serve another 16 months for charges that include break and enter, threats to cause death, and damage to property.

The 22 year plead guilty to 12 charges after he turned himself in to RCMP in Beaverlodge earlier this year.

He had been wanted on outstanding warrants, and police believed he was living in that community or Hythe.

He was sentenced last week to 550 days in jail, but was given credit for time served and a five year firearms probation.
