UPDATE: Fog advisory ended

UPDATE: The fog advisory for the Grande Prairie region has ended.

Thick fog has prompted Environment Canada to issue an advisory for the Grande Prairie – Beaverlodge – Valleyview region. There’s near zero visibility in some areas.

The fog is reportedly the most dense along Highway 43 from Sangudo to Grande Prairie where drivers can expect stretches of reduced visibility to near zero. Environment Canada warns travel is expected to be dangerous in some places.
