A Drayton Valley man has been killed in a crash north of Grande Prairie. While RCMP and the County of Grande Prairie Fire Service responded to a vehicle fire on Highway 43 just before midnight Sunday, a pickup truck hit another vehicle stopped in the line of traffic.
The 29 year old driving the pickup died from injuries he suffered in the crash. His next of kin has been notified but his identity is not being released.
An investigation into the cause of the collision is underway.
