UPDATE: OPP say Savoie has been in contact with police and is no longer considered missing.
A Grande Prairie man has been reported missing in Ontario. 41 year old Rene Savoie was last seen travelling on Highway 17 near Wawa on August 26, 2017.
Savoie is described as Métis, 5’10” and 135 pounds with a slim build. He has a crew cut with brown and grey hair and was last seen wearing green shorts and a grey t-shirt. Ontario Provincial Police say he could possibly be driving a black, two-door, 2002 passenger vehicle with a temporary Alberta licence plate and rear spoiler.
