Golf membership offered to new family in Grande Prairie

If you’re a family who has recently moved to the city, you could win a one year membership to Bear Creek Golf Club.

Owner and President Stuart Wilson says he wanted to do something that would make families feel as welcome as he has since he moved here 32 years ago.

“It was the same story as so many people: you come for a couple of years, and you think you’re going to go home to your family and all these years later you say, ‘My goodness, I’m glad I came.'”

The ‘New Family of the Year’ sponsorship is something the golf club is doing in partnership with the City as part of their 100th anniversary.

Nominations will be accepted through August and September.
