Road work starts Monday in Mission Heights

Road rehabilitation in Mission Heights gets underway on August 21st. Work will take place on 81st Avenue from 106th to 107th Street, 106A Street from 81st to 82nd Avenue, and 82nd Avenue from 106 to 106A Street.

Crews will be removing and replacing the roads, repairing and replacing concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, and doing minor repairs to the storm system below. The speed limit in the area will be dropped to 30 kilometres an hour and there will be flaggers and signs in place.

Access to the area may be limited at times. However, local access will be available and detours will be set up as needed.
