Fire fighters were able to prevent an early morning garage fire in the South Patterson neighbourhood from spreading to nearby homes.
Shortly before 6 am a barking dog woke up residents in the neighbourhood, who were able to call 911.
Fire crews were able to put out the blaze fairly quickly.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
