Lot Grading Bylaw info session coming up

If you want to learn about the new Lot Grading Bylaw, it will be on display on Wednesday. From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the public is invited to learn what the bylaw is and ask questions about it. The city says it is meant to allow for better management of commercial and residential lot grading.

It is also hoped to regulate developments more efficiently and minimize drainage issues. The information sessions is being held at Teresa Sargent Hall. All members of the public are able to attend.

The grading of a lot has to do with the contour of the surface and it’s ability to direct water away from the foundation to public property.
