Armed robber targets north side Boston Pizza

An armed robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from a restaurant on the north end of Grande Prairie. RCMP say a man with a gun went into the Boston Pizza at 100th Street and 121st Avenue around 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning and demanded money.

The suspect ran off with the cash, and while Police Dog Services was called in, they weren’t able to find him. He’s described as Caucasian and 180 pounds with a slim build. He was wearing grey sweat pants and a hoodie with a black hood.

Police say no employees were hurt in the incident. They ask anyone who might have information to contact the Grande Prairie detachment or Crime Stoppers.
