The wildfire hazard for the Grande Prairie Forest Area is sitting at high for Sunday. Wildfire Information Officer Melinda Paplawski says cooler temperatures are forecast for the day with a chance of rain which could bump the hazard down.
A fire advisory is in effect for the Grande Prairie area with no new permits issued, safe campfires only and people are urged to check their Off-Highway Vehicle for debris.
If you see smoke in a forested area, call 310-FIRE.
