The MD of Greenview is giving the public a night to learn more about the Tri-Municipal Industrial Partnership. Grovedale Public Services is holding an information night with coffee and snacks Thursday night.
The City of Grande Prairie, County and the MD are working together to bring an industrial development to the area. Early plans had the industrial park being able to accommodate a petrochemical plant. The City and County of Grande Prairie have both contributed $52,500 for start up funds which is part of a $210,000 budget for 2017.
All three municipalities would share property tax revenue from any development, which will most likely be built in the MD of Greenview.
