Gushue and Beaverlodge's Walker fall to Howard at National Grand Slam

It came down to the last shot of the last end.

Brad Gushue fell 7-6 to Glenn Howard in the finals of the Syncrude National Grand Slam of Curling in Fort McMurray Sunday.

Gushue’s rink, which includes Geoff Walker of Beaverlodge, tied the game up in the seventh end, but Howard had the hammer and won with a draw to the button on his last rock.

The last Grand Slam of the season is set for April 15 to 20 in P.E.I.
