With a goal of raising 8 thousand dollars, the Parkinson Association of Alberta has opened registration for their annual fundraiser. The 5th Annual Flexxaire Step N’ Stride will be taking place at Muskoseepi Park this fall.
Funds Development Coordinator Katie Von Hansen explains that all proceeds stay in the community to support those with Parkinson’s disease.
“Support from our Coordinators, but also from each other. It also gives us an opportunity to provide education about Parkinson’s and how they can live better with the disease.”
The walk goes September 9th at 10 am.
