Lane closures planned for 102nd Street downtown

Traffic downtown will get even more restricted this week. Starting Friday, 102nd Street between 100th and 102nd Avenue will be down to one lane in each direction.

The city says only minor traffic delays are expected, and signs and barricades will be in place to direct drivers. The lane reduction will give construction crews room to replace underground infrastructure.

Other work on the downtown rehabilitation project has 101st Street closed from 99th Avenue to 103rd, other than the intersections with 99th and 100th Avenue.
