A gun taken in a break and enter has turned up in a parking lot drug bust. An RCMP investigation led police to the lot of a local pharmacy on July 13th, when a man and a woman found in a vehicle were arrested.
Officers seized 35 grams of cocaine, 13 grams of meth and $2,400 cash, along with the loaded gun from an unrelated B&E investigation. 34 year old Jeante Maddox has been charged with 12 Criminal Code offences and three under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He’ll appear in Grande Prairie court on July 31st.
A woman is also facing charges but her name has not yet been released.
