The Tennis Club is excited to show of their freshly revamped courts in Swanavon this weekend.
Club Secretary Sue DeSchipper says they’re excited to be finished after years of fundraising and a busy few months of renovations.
“We’ve got the two-tone, upgraded colours now which is pretty common for must clubs now. So we’ve got the blue courts with the surrounding green. We’ve got new fencing, and now we’ve got like an open shelter there for people who want to watch or just sit back and socialize.”
DeSchipper says they’ve also installed a screen around the courts which protects players from wind and bugs.
The club is hosting an Open House on Sunday from 1-4 to showcase the new and improved facility.
