Eaglesham School is expanding its breakfast program. Right now, elementary school students are served nutritious food three days a week.
Thanks to a $2,000 donation from DuPont Pioneer, the program will include junior and senior high students next year.
“Our goal is to develop a breakfast program within the school that will ensure all our students have the greatest opportunity to succeed,” says co-principal Terry Pattison. “The support from DuPont Pioneer will allow us to develop a sustainable program that will have a positive impact on our students.”
Pioneer says it makes a point of helping community-based organizations where their employees live and work.
