Quick response likely saved a County home from further damage this afternoon.
Fire crews from Sexsmith, Teepee Creek and Clairmont responded to a report of smoke coming from a home east of Highway 2 north of Clairmont around 4:25 this afternoon.
They were able to contain the fire to the kitchen and underside of the house and are still on scene working on hot spots.
The cause is under investigation.
