Five charged after stolen property, guns found in home

A total of 95 charges have been laid against five people after guns and stolen property were found at a home in Grande Prairie.

RCMP searched the place the night of June 29th, turning up stolen things like bicycles, ID and credit cards. They also seized four guns, of which three were loaded, ammunition, and a variety of illegal drugs.

“We’re grateful to the public for advising the police of suspicious activities and helping us in working towards having safer communities,” says Corporal Eldon Chillog. “It’s always a good thing to remove stolen firearms from the community as it’s unknown how they’ll be used.”

Police haven’t confirmed whether any of the guns they found were stolen.
