As construction moves along on the 68th Avenue Twinning Project, 100th Street between 68th and 72nd Avenue will now be closed. However, drivers can again use the south part of the intersection of 100th and 68th, as it has reopened. The north side is now closed.
The work marks the beginning of the third phase of the project. The westbound lanes of 68th Ave are also closed to traffic, and vehicles will have to use the eastbound ones in both directions.
There could be alternating lanes during the construction at times. The speed limit in the area is also set for 30 km/h around construction.
All work is set to be complete by late summer 2017.
