Opening night for Grande Prairie Century Play

Today is the first day for performances of the Grande Prairie Century Play.

The special centennial event is part of the City’s 100th anniversary celebrations.

The play begins in the early 1900s, and will make its way through the past century, recreating Grande Prairie’s rich history.

All performances will be at the bottom of Borstad Hill in Muskoseepi Park.

Tonight and tomorrow’s shows begin with a procession at 7 p.m.

There are two shows on Sunday starting at 2 p.m and 9 pm, and another on Sunday at 2.
