Whitecourt RCMP have released surveillance photos of an armed robbery suspect in the hopes someone will recognize them. The town’s Scotiabank was held up by a man with a weapon around 1:30 p.m. on June 9th. The man had blue stretchy material covering his face, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his early 20s, and 5’10” with a small build. He had light colour eyes and dark brown, unkempt hair covered by a white hard hat. The man was also wearing baggy red coveralls with yellow reflective stripes and was carrying a black backpack with multiple pockets.
