Dawson Creek men arrested in connection with Innisfail shooting

Two men from Dawson Creek are among four arrested in Thunder Bay earlier this week in connection with a shooting in Innisfail.

The SUV the two of them were in, along with a third man from Burnaby, B.C., was stopped for having no taillights, and it turned out to be wanted as part of a homicide investigation.

A loaded handgun and drugs were found in the vehicle and the men are now in custody facing firearms charges.

The resulting investigation also led to the arrest of a fourth man from Pitt Meadows, B.C. who is a person of interest in the shooting and attempted homicide on June 2nd.
