Water will turned off for a portion of downtown Grande Prairie this weekend. On Sunday, June 11th, 2017, the water outage is planned for the area between 102nd Street and 100th Street on 102nd Avenue.
The outage is to allow Wapiti Gravel Suppliers Ltd. to replace underground water infrastructure as part of Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes Project. It is planned for early morning that day and it is scheduled to go into the late afternoon.
All businesses have been notified by the contractor.
