Usage of the County Sportsplex is up considerably during the first five months of this year, compared to the same time frame last year. County Reeve Leanne Beaupre says they are particularly happy to see an increase in the use of the Field House.
“With the addition of the new net and smaller hole size that can accomodate different activities in there, we have certainly seen a huge increase in the usage of that facility. As for the ice, when we were doing the business plan, we knew it was going to be a huge demand on that and an increase in that.”
Beaupre says the increased usage shows council that they made the right decision to build the multi million dollar facility.
