Peace Region writers honoured with provincial literary awards

Two Peace Region writers have been recognized for their work with 2014 Alberta Literary awards, sponsored by the Writers Guild of Alberta.

The R. Ross Annett award for Children’s Literature was won by Hythe’s Karen Bass for her book “Graffiti Knight”.

The Amber Bowerman Memorial Award for Travel Writing was presented to Trina Moyles of Peace River for “The Chicken Feather”.

The awards were handed out during a special ceremony in Calgary on Friday night.
