The City of Grande Prairie has lifted its road ban. One has been in effect since March 16th, when gravel roads were thawing out.
A road ban is still in effect on County of Grande Prairie gravel roads. It was recently moved up to a 75 per cent axle weight around the clock.
Road bans are used to protect vulnerable roads from changing weather conditions.
