Grande Prairie breaks another Camp Day record

Tim Hortons in Grande Prairie has had another record-setting Camp Day.

Nearly $42,000 was raised for their Children’s Foundation through coffee sales and other donations last Wednesday.

Local franchisee Tracy Allard says that far surpassed their goal of $40,000, and previous record of $35,000.

“So this was a huge, huge increase, and so we just are so thankful to all the volunteers that came out and the community for their generosity.”

Ten local children will be sent to summer camp this year, and the rest benefits other children through the foundation.
