Busy weekend for local sports

The Northern Anarchy women’s football team will host Edmonton to wrap up their regular season. That game starts at 3 tomorrow at Legion field.
The Centaurs rugby teams stage their home openers tomorrow. The Division 3 team plays the Druids at 12:30, while the Division 2 Centaurs host Fort McMurray at 4. In between those matches, the lady Sirens host the Druids at 2:15. All games are at Macklin field.
Meanwhile the Comp Warriors boys rugby team is in Calgary this weekend for high school provincials.
The Grande Prairie Brewers will be in Grimshaw for a Wheat Belt Baseball League double header tomorrow.
The Thrashers junior lacrosse team has a pair of home games against the Edmonton Wizards at the County Sportsplex. Game times are 7:30 tomorrow and 11am Sunday.

The Lions and Warriors meet Sunday afternoon at 3 in Grande Prairie Cricket League action.

The Beaverlodge 77’s are in Regina this weekend for the Canadian Ball Hockey Association’s Western Regional Championships. The 77’s are playing in the B Division, and open up tonight at 7:30 against the Edge from Edmonton.
