UPDATE: Symphony and Singing moved to People's Church

UPDATE: Tonight’s Symphony and Singing in the Park event has been moved to People’s Church due to weather concerns.

The Grande Prairie Boys’ Choir is celebrating Grande Prairie’s 100th anniversary with a Symphony and Singing event tonight at Muskoseepi Park.

They’ll be joined by Men of Note, Edmonton orchestra musicians, and former residents who have studied opera.

The show is free to attend and will feature a variety of genres from the half local half Edmonton-based group.

It’s expected to be a one-of-a-kind experience for Grande Prairie, in the hopes of bringing in more in the future.

It starts at 7 p.m. at the amphitheatre, and will be moved to Peoples Church if there’s inclement weather.
