Pedestrian bridge set to close for work

Part of the Muskoseepi Park trails will not be usable for a majority of next week. The pedestrian walkway near the train trestle bridge that passes over the Bear Creek will be unusable. This is located between 84th Avenue and 99th Avenue.

The closure is set to allow the wooden deck of the bridge to be changed out. Workers will be in the area of 102nd Street and 98th Avenue with their equipment.

People will not be able to use the trails from the Grande Prairie Museum stretching to past the train bridge as work goes from May 14th to 18th. Pedestrians should also avoid the area when possible.

A detour is available via 102nd Street.
