Loaded gun found in vehicle that fled traffic stop

A vehicle that fled police late Thursday night turned out to have a loaded gun inside. RCMP tried to pull it over around 11:45 p.m. after officers witnessed a traffic violation. Instead, it drove off, but was later found in a residential parking lot in the area of 100 Street and Prairie Road.

26 year old Bradley McCullough of Grande Prairie and 38 year old Jason losing of Clairmont were arrested nearby, and a loaded firearm was seized from the vehicle. Both men are facing several charges related to the possession of a prohibited weapon, along with breaching court orders. McCullough is facing additional charges surrounding dangerous driving and flight from police.

The pair will appear in court on May 15th, and RCMP ask anyone with more information to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
