Youth Council Documentary premieres at Grande Prairie Live Theatre

The city of Grande Prairie Youth Engagement Awards are being held tonight at the the Grande Prairie Live Theatre. During the evening the GP Youth Council will be releasing their documentary called From Redneck to Rainbow. The film will showcase LGBTQ youth perspectives from Alberta and Ontario. It will also showcase interviews with Minister of Culture and Tourism Ricardo Miranda and Mayor Bill Given.

The award ceremony will get underway at 7:00 pm tonight. The theme of the event is Old Hollywood Meets New Perspectives.

Tickets are sold out for the event.
