The Grande Prairie Public Library is celebrating it’s 75th anniversary this month with a pair of special promotions. Library Director Maureen Curry says they are offering free one year memberships this month to new customers or existing ones with a June renewal date.
“If you have always thought about getting a library card but just have never gotten around to it, or had one a while ago and are thinking that you would like to see what the library has. We are encouraging the community to come out, and we are offering free memberships throughout the month of June.”
They are also planning a community celebration on Saturday June 21st from 2-4 pm at the Library. Activities will include a silver tea, crafts, music, games, and cake.
