Brass knuckles and guns seized from Grande Prairie home

Grande Prairie RCMP have seized guns, drugs, cash and weapons from a home in the city. After getting a disturbance complaint on April 5th, 2017, police went into a house to make sure everyone inside was safe. Officers were confronted by a man with a gun. He was disarmed and arrested after a fight with police.

There was 13 ounces of cocaine, 25 grams of marijuana, evidence of cocaine trafficking, and over $17,000 in cash seized. The confiscation also included a loaded shot gun, a loaded hand gun, brass knuckles and 16 ounces of hash.

27 year old Christopher Hobbs is facing several charges and he will appear in court on April 10th in Grande Prairie Provincial Court.

There were no shots fired and there were no injuries reported. An investigation into the incident continues.
