Rifle pointed at Highway 43 semi driver

Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating what may have been a road rage incident Saturday. Police say the two vehicles were heading east on Highway 43 around noon.

When they reached the Richmond Hill area, a man in a red, four door sedan leaned out of the passenger window and pointed a rifle at the driver of a semi truck. No shots were fired and the car continued towards the city.

Police heard about the incident just after noon and patrolled the area but couldn’t find the suspect vehicle. It’s believed to be a Honda Accord with dark tinted rear windows and black winter rims.

The man who pointed the gun is described as Caucasian, and was wearing a hoodie and a camouflage jacket. The rifle had a camouflage stock with a scope on it.
