UPDATE: The workshop has been moved to Wednesday, April 12th.
People who live in the Hillside area will have a chance next week to be more hands on in the future of their community. The city is hosting a public workshop on its Area Redevelopment Plan, currently in the works with the help of a neighbourhood steering committee.
The plan will look at issues like the future use of the large empty lot across from the CN Rail yard and what other features residents would like to see. The workshop will be held in the ANAVETS building from 6:30 to 9 p.m.on April 12th. Another will be held in May.
