Nominations open to recognize young leaders

If you know a young volunteer that works hard for your community, nominate them for a Leaders of Tomorrow Award. The award ceremony is held on April 26th but nominations are still open until Monday, April 3rd.

This year Honorable Betty Unger will be celebrating with the nominees. She is the first woman in Canadian history to be elected as a Senate nominee and then as Senator by the Prime Minister.

On top of Unger, there will be the Duke of Edinburgh Awards presenting to the attendees.

The awards will be presented at the Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon and will take place at Revolution Place. Tickets are available through the Grande Prairie Volunteer Bureau.
